I’m a single mother of 3 girls and 1 boy. I was born in Connecticut, and moved to Arizona with my family in 1980.
My passion to help people began when I was young. I remember as a child spending time visiting my grandparents who lived in an apartment complex mainly occupied by the elderly. My grandmother always had a friend to whom she was lending a helping hand. It was then, I realized my passion to help people make a difference in their lives. I continued to visit with my grandmother and always offered my assistance to her friends. Sometimes I would help someone walk down the hall, pick up something that fell or just sit and listen to them talk.
I continued my passion to make a difference in someone's life as an adult. I began fostering three children who I then adopted in 2011, one of which is special needs. I’ve worked very hard with Brenda to raise her confidence skills, become more independent, and assist her with daily life tasks.
Now that my children are becoming young adults, I believe it is time to pursue my dreams of working with others. I hope for and look forward to providing compassion, care and empathy to your loved ones.
